Camp Corazon – A special place for kids ages 7 – Senior in High School who’ve had a loved one die.
When: July 25, 26 & 27
Where: Central New Mexico (about 45 minutes North and East of Albuquerque)
At the Children’s Grief Center of New Mexico, we often get calls from families living around the state who have lost loved ones, and don’t have any resources in their communities. This is why we’re reaching out across New Mexico.
Camp Corazon offers traditional camp activities such as a challenge course, bonfire, songs and games, and it also provides a unique opportunity for kids who have lost a loved one to share feelings and memories with other kids who’ve been through something similar. Camp Corazon helps grieving young people develop their own coping skills that will help them manage grief in their day-to-day lives, even after they leave.

Art Obscura Art & Collectibles Superstore, 3206 Harrelson St., has a mission to provide a chance for great, up-and-coming local artists to show and sell their work, as well as a way for those of us with little disposable income to purchase one-of-a-kind artworks and antiques, putting money back into the local economy and the burgeoning artistic community in Las Cruces.
